Valley Sports ReportTHE VALLEY — The New York State Division 2 Wrestling Duals headline Saturday’s slate of action, while only features one event in the Valley as the Waverly boys host Section III Cazenovia in an afternoon start.
WRESTLING
New York State Division 2 Duals, 9 a.m. @ SRC Arena, Onondaga CC, Syracuse: Tioga, Central Valley Academy, and Canisteo-Greenwood are the top three ranked teams in the State, and are also the top three seeded teams in the tournament.

Athens at Bedford Tournament, 9 a.m.: Day 2 for the Wildcats at the Bedford Tournament, and still alive are senior Jake Courtney and junior Josh Nittinger in the semifinals, and sophomore Caleb Nason and freshman Cooper Robinson in the consolation bracket.
BOYS BASKETBALL
Sayre (8-9) at Blue Ridge (11-3), 1 p.m. JV start: The Redskins are coming off a 90-14 rout of Williamson, highlighted by senior Jackson Hubbard’s school-record 55 points, while the Red Raiders thumped winless Lackawanna Trail, 82-33.
Cazenovia (8-5) at Waverly (11-2), 3 p.m. JV start: The Wolverines are coming off a division-clinching 67-51 win at Trumansburg Friday night, while Cazenovia topped South Jefferson, 68-53, Monday.
